I've posted some photos from our trip to Chicago at the end of July in the trip gallery. We departed the U.S. for Germany at the beginning of the month and I've been to busy to miss flying all that much so far.  That'll change in another couple of weeks after we get settled into our new home and get back to a "normal" routine.  I'll miss those Saturday morning trips for breakfast.  The plane is in good hands and I'll be back in the saddle in no time (at least that's what I'm hoping for anyway...).

 

Looks like the water has finally receded below the levee and the process of clearing out the airfield of the remaining water can begin in a few weeks.  Hope to hear some good news when the runway and hangars are inspected and all the displaced tenants can move back in quickly.

The latest round of upgrades to our aircraft were completed in early June.  You can read about the latest modifications in the Avionics Upgrade #2 page.  I've posted some newer photos of the panel as well.
