States
we have flown to so far.

Iowa:
Des
Moines (KDSM): We fly here to attend Iowa Cubs
baseball games (AAA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs).
We use Elliott Aviation for parking and transportation
as required. Principal Park is a nice stadium to take in
a
baseball game.
Kansas:
Topeka
Forbes Field (KFOE): Visit the
combat air
museum located at the end of the runway.
Topeka
Billard Airport (KTOP): Billard Cafe is a nice
cafe located in the terminal.
Hutchinson (KHUT): The Airport Steakhouse is
located in the terminal. A short trip down the
road from the airport is the
Kansas Cosmosphere
Center and Space Center.
Missouri:
Rosecrans Memorial Airport (KSTJ): They hold the
annual Sound of Speed airshow and have a great little cafe in the terminal building.
Nebraska:
Omaha
(KCBF): Council Bluff airport is technically in
Iowa, but since our intended stay is right across the
border, I consider it in Nebraska. Omaha is home
to the College Baseball World Series every year in June
and the Omaha Storm Chasers play there (KC Royals AAA
affiliate) from May-Sep. The Omaha Zoo is also
worth exploring for a day.
Ohio
Sandusky
(KSKY): Sandusky is the home of
Cedar Point
Amusement Park. The airport is a short 15-20
minute drive to the park and it is rumored that the FBO
will provide transportation to the park for free.
Call ahead to verify as I haven't used that service
since my parents live close by.
Kalahari
Resorts and
Castaway Bay are indoor waterparks that are also
nearby.
